Posted: Sat Jun 18, 2005 9:10 amStarted the day at noon with Grant, Duane and Ken. Wind showing some potential, we all rigged ~5.2's. Wind direction more easterly, giving up some good rides, but also plenty of slogging (a floaty board was the ticket). Rigged a 5.7 at about 4:00, then actually a 6.7 from about 5-6:00. About the time evreyone was leaving (6:00ish), the wind direction switched to a more SW direction, and FINALLY it came in strong and consistent. Luckily still had sails rigged, put the wetsuit back on, grabbed the 5.2 and enjoyed a wonderful session, fully powered up almost the whole time. Left at 8:00 happy and content. What a difference, once the wind switched to a more westerly tilt!!! Wind still strong when I left.
