Sailed from 6 - 8:30pm. First time on a sail < 5.8 since I started a few years ago and only 2nd time on my small board. Seemed super gusty as I was going from slogging to launched over the handle bars every minute or so. Wish there had been others there to get some advice and thoughts about the conditions. Spent a lot of time in the water, got lots of air time (mostly my body flying through the air), but had fun and learned a lot. Sure is easy to clear a 4.0. I think I could really like small sails.

Kevin,
Rush Lake is very sailable right now. You should have been there instead. It's much more reliable and better winds. It's the place to be, north or south. See you out there.
