2/16 & 17 2 more sessions on the snow
Posted: Tue Feb 19, 2008 10:58 amSat. we headed for Strawbs with Jon M...to get some more practice on the snow. THANKS A BUNCH Jon, for your time, and help, and letting us try out the kites! Had a good time on 8M access and Linda on a 6M . I liked the area and seemed to do ok going back and forth. Wind was very gusty, and a bit scarry, but over all we did ok
Sun @ PC wind was kind of light, but doable. It was fun to see Jon take the 8m from me and make it work so well. I love seeing him with that big smile on all the time! Thanks for letting me try the 10, and feel the power. I can see that I need to develop, kite flying skills, to get it all moving, and feel in control.....lot's to learn.
