Arrived at strawberry at about 1:00 to some major wind and drifing snow. I drove past chicken creek past the ranger shed and while pulling into the parking lot could barely see 5 feet in front of me due to drifting snow. It mellowd a bit after I parked and turned into an awesome session on the 9M Link. Some light wind crust but mostly soft snow with sections of nice real powder drift. It was a far cry from the next session with the wife at richardson flats. The wind once we got there was super light but we got some rides on what seemed to be uneven cement with the 16M bularoo and the 13 M Frenzy. That place needs some fresh snow!! by the way - I believe I left a pair of e-vent gloves on the roof of my car when leaving strawberry - if anyone happened to pick them up please let me know!!

I pulled up as you were checking out. Wind was good, but a bit gusty, and from a direction that made it hard to access the hills. I decided that I would pack it up and head over to Coop creek where the Liquid Force crew was set up. As I was putting my kite in the car, I saw blue sky on the Northern horizon. Waited it out a bit, then walked across the road to Chicken Creek West.
Things cleared up marvelously, and after a bit of a lull, the wind came up, and it was PLAYTIME. Watched Billy and Jason Slezak launch off the side of the hill. Wind was good up top, but not so good in the flats. Made for a slow trek home. Awesome session.
Dave: I saw one of your gloves on the road, but didn't grab it. Sorry. Another pair of kiters were yet to leave as I changed locales, so hopefully they grabbed them.
