4.2m Landboarding - Ecenter Parking Lot

I snuck out of my house around ten o’clock because the wind seemed to be blowing. Put the 4.2 and 3.0 in my car and ended up rigging a tight 4.2. The wind was probably 18 -24 mph while I was there and the temp stayed above sixty even after I left after midnight.
I felt pretty awkward with the sail for about 5 jibes and then it all started coming back. Landboarding is good because it helps me practice my sail flips and timing. Towards the end I starting getting my duck jibes down on one side the other turn was still awkward. I think a few more sessions and I will be ready for the water. The ice is off Utah Lake but I am not ready to fall in yet. I don't doubt that we will get hit with that annual crazy mm19 spring day in the next two to three weeks.
Next time I go out I could use some company, any takers?

I'm down for buzzing the overpass again! Yes, a reminder, we shouldn't be allowed outside!
