Absolutely epic day at Strawberry River. 5-6 people out tearing it up in 15-20 MPH wind that stayed good unitl about 4:30 before getting really squirly. Had a blast playing on the hills and gapping the river. Tons of snow up there but with this next weeks temps it might just turn to slop. I guess the next few days will tell. I'm going to hate to say goodbye to the snow and terrain!!

Rolled up at about 1 or 1:30, rigged up the 12m Synergy and rode hard and aggressive. My first tack out, I think I experienced Bliss. I've never understood why people get so hot for powder, and I still don't. On top of the hard pack was about 4 inches of heavy, creamy spring snow. Speeds were fast, but the ride was smooth as can be. Perfect surface for loading up jumps. Very bad surface for over-rotating and whacking your skull on the snow.

A great session ... until I found out my kite bag either grew wings and flew downwind or grew legs and walked off with some new friends. Major downer. Any info on the whereabout of my bag would be appreciated if anyone saw what happened. I took a long walk downwind and even drove a bit after that, so I think those slednecks grabbed it. Grrr. I really don't need another reason to detest them.
