6/12 Lincoln Beach No Blow

The north wind picked up around noon in the SLC valley and Bluffdale looked promising late in the afternoon. So, I and 7 or 8 other kiters made the migration to Lincoln. The wind looked good on the drive down, but petered out near Lincoln. There must have been too much west in the direction. I am curious if anyone got out at Lindon or SSB. Lincoln was sub-prime all evening. I got someone downwind sloshes after 6 friendly kite slaves helped me launch my SA2 19M. I wish I had a photo. I impressed them with amazingly underpowered reaches. I did get one reach where I planned the whole way with the kite parked. I think that experience would have been amazing for me if it were my first day on the water. I stayed in the water for around 90 minutes, the wind kept teasing me, just below the theshold of rideable. Oh well, at least I worked up an appetite for Del Taco on the ride home.
