Fun jibefest with many participants. Probably 10 sailors out at some point. On the water about 7:20, rippin' reaches from the get go, 5.2 conditions on the far side. About 45 min. later it seemed to ramp up a bit more, making me think hard about my 5.2. Power sailors like Dana from down south in Orem and George Ward hung onto their 6.6's somehow. I stuck with my flattened 5.7. Started to get some lulls in the action about 8:30 and they got longer until about 9:30 when I started waiting for windlines to go over and back powered up. Jim H. seemed to have a motor on, planing constantly on a 5.7. Always someone in motion.

During one lull, I was schlogging back and saw a 3-foot tall sailor ahead of me. Turned out to be Layne, sailing his short board UNDERWATER, submerged up to his thighs, with a little wake around his forward leg. WTF? How does he do that? Does that take a special fin? Amazing.

Great follow-on to yesterday. Can I make it 3 innarow?

PS, the toilets in the "campground" have no TP. Roll yer own, or bring yer rolls, whatever.
