7-27 Sunday, G'ville light NP 6.7, Sumo 105
Weelll, the more JD writes, the more I just wanna read his stuff instead of post! Sounds like fun and you were channeling the big guy. Speaking of which --- CARL GOT MARRIED YESTERDAY? Congrats, Carl! Now who's seeing rainbows? (Honest, they were coming off the back of Rob's Carve between 7 and 8 yesterday and you know I haven't drunk the Starbd Kool-Aid...yet).
G'ville today was a couple planing reaches on a 5.7 at 7:00, then a lot of work on a 6.7 for some planers, but probably 40% of the time. Layne on his 7.5 and bigger Fanatic seemed rigged pretty well, but even so, it just warn't filled in wall to wall like usual. No hero jibes, although I did manage to manhandle my 6.7 through one (and only one) ducker just to offset the lame falls on the other side when I wasn't planing, which was often. Still seemed pretty festive with about 6-8 sailors out when Duane K and I left, just a nice place with really nice water and scenery.
