Oh yeah, like George said. But it was 5.2 and 105 for me. Lots, repeat, lots of wind. i.e., 9:45: 28 gusting to 34. Flattened the 5.2 and got my 94 liter board for the last 1.5 hours. Arms stretched from sailing and practicing my superman launches. Grant, Ken, John F., Emmanuel, Jim H., June, Jamie, all attending G'ville services. All left elated. Except those eagerly headed for PM launches? Must be more to the story today...

Salt Lake Valley was socked in and a few sprinkles were coming down then it rained coming around by Lakepoint at 6:15. That didn’t bode well. But Grantsville was mostly clear and sunny all morning making for as good a session as I have had this year. The wind was definitely ripping from the get go. It would start off at +20 on the west side and by the middle of the lake it was 30. East side jibes were wild as it gets. I finally tried the 76 liter board but waited too long. The new Ezzy Freeride was sweet. John seemed to be going half sail and half kite towards the end so I don’t know if the dark side is trying to get a hold of him. We will have to see if Manny posts the picture evidence. The wind lines were still coming and the predicted rain clouds were not showing up but at 11:30 I was finally too beat to continue. It is fun to be sailing with such great company.

Ditto, ditto, ditto... has to be one of the best of the year. Rode a 85 liter board all morning, what's wrong with that? Nothing... what a riot. George and Dimo got best of show, as they both came screaming into the beach, Dimo piles up next to the beach, George somehow uncorks a screaming jibe inches from both Dimo and the beach, and hoots and hoolers as he sails away. Just a great day, with great company!

Grantville... always a good choice! 2/3 hours on the 80 liter and the 4.7.
Nice to see a KITE on the water!

Thanks for the nice picks Manny. Good kite shots ,John has the kite thing going on.Looks like it added some power to that 5.2.
