10/10 Lincoln 17M Waroo
Wind was light when I arrived. The sun was out and the temp in my car said 48, it felt downright cold. I stayed warm however in my full wussified outfit - drysuit, gloves, snow helmet. Rode for about 2 hours until the wind picked up to the point that I could hold on no longer. One other kiter, Grant from San Diego showed up. He took a few underpowered reaches on a 14M, he was wearing a full wetsuit and I think that he wasn't having a lot of fun because of the cold. I saw some kites at SSB. The wind was going strong when I left, probably could have gone out on a 9.
We need some snow in the mountains really quick. Looking forward to some real kiting on the snow. This water kiting is a nice diversion, but I will be glad when we are ripping the powder again.
