U guys Rock....Wished I could have made it. I chewed my nails off @ work, watching the wind on the web. Glad you guys got some rides.

Yeah I have say that this was a session for the books. I rigged my 4.7 and first went out on 100 liters. The 100 liters was mostly to make sure I got home but after about 45 minutes I couldn't take the beating in all that chop. So I switched down to my 83 liter drops, Going out from the river mouth worked out really well. The water is only 1.5 feet deep next to the reeds which makes it really easy to stop and rest.

I would follow Jim out with smoke following him. We would turn around about 1.5 miles out and make at least 100 bottom turns on those mini ramps. Epic Utah lake conditions. The wind would gust for 5 minutes then level out for 5 minutes. Jim was putting on a clinic on how to tear up the waves. Going out from the harbor the ramps are tall steep starboard.

I should have stayed out longer but was tired and starting to get cold. The water felt warmer then the air. The combined temp wasn't too bad, but I did resort to dish washing gloves.

I derigged and watch Jim stay out for another 45 minute session.

At the very least I think we figured out a launching solution for Provo Boat Harbor.

Now if we could get these conditions to repeat every Saturday we would be in really good shape.
