Jake and I carpooled down and found no one on the hill and about 2" of new. We had a good initial session with some good glides and some leeward powder stashes of 4 - 8". The new snow freshend things up a bit, but not as much as one would hope. It was kind of like when you should take a shower and you just run a comb through your air and wash your face. Yeah, it is better, but we still need a lot more. Wind was gusty in the high teens to lower twenties.

Jake and I took a break and decided to hit the west side of the road. Spence and his friend, Casey showed up. Casey was just learning, but she did well on a 3M kite. Jake and I proceeded across the road and had some good rides until the wind started switching. We both downed the kites. I lost mine while rolling up the lines when a big gust came through. Fortunately, no damage was done. I went out again and noticed that a lot of the blown snow is accumulating in the flat section below Bosco, not a lot of snow, but better than nothing. Still waiting for a big dump!

kenny - jake - thanks for the help with a bit of instruction for my friend - and the Rhodes Rolls - they were delicious!

I eventually got out for about 1/2 hour on a 12 m foil - lots of hard pack, a bit of pockets of powder where it had accumulated.. plenty of rocks out there... so bring your rock board. It felt good to be back riding.
