So I noticed the Logan Summit gauge had been pretty pinned for about three days now so I went to check it out. Got to the summit about 11:00 and it was peeling up all over the place. I wanted to ride a slope I scoped out a week ago but its a little jaunt on snowshoes and the parking at the summit was drifted over. Ended up going back down to the snowmobile parking. I grabbed my 10m frenzy, i was solo and these things are easier to launch and land- I think, and a 2005 7m frenzy and walked out in the middle sink. I was getting my 10m ready when a couple of gusts made me put it away and get out the 7m. I've held the 10m down in 25-30mph but it was scary as hell and since i was solo i figured it was sketchy enough already. Ended up mostly just cruising around, wind was really gusty prob 15-35mph...wasn't good for jumping at all and the couple times I ventured up on the slope of the middle sink were pretty scary, snow was great tho! I made a map of what I know about the sinks-enjoy!

-never tried the map thing before so sorry if it doesn't work

Brain,
Thanks for posting. I'm headed up there this weekend. It will be interesting to see if anything is still there.

No prob Ken...there might be a little left this weekend but the high pressure seems to have moved in everywhere. Maybe I'll see you out there if there's wind! -Brian
