This is a late post since I am out of town for work now. I launched at Cemetery Point and had winds about 18 mph out of the north. The ice has some soft spots that are obvious, especially on the north side of the point. I worked my way up past the yacht club and back again several times. The surface was pretty good and not too windblown. Man can you go fast on the reservoir. I was probably going 35-45mph most of the time and leaning over so far that I could drag my upwind hand on the snow. I'll be back in Utah this weekend and see whats up at the Strawberry BBQ.

Is Pineview frozen near the dam. That may be the only riding for the next few days.

Brian,
The ice fisherman usually are not there, first thing in the morning. Is there snow on the ice or is it bare ice?

Kenny,
The snow coverage close to dam have some area that are bare and have good coverage. The Best coverage is on the shore. Watch out for fishing holes.
