Identical to yesterday, except the powder was all tracked up. Ken Lewis and family, Ralph, showed up as did 5 other kiters about the time I was leaving at noon.

I drove by saw you guys at the dam. It look like you guys were having fun. I decided to head up to Pow Mow because it was stronger up there.

The wind was steady 15 to 25 mph from the S. The snow was good. I was on the 12m Nemesis HP and Lib Tech Banana Hammock. Fairly power.

I wouldn't mind trying PowMow sometime but I would want to go with someone who knows the area. I have never kited there before, seems intimidating to me. Whenever I have been up there it seems like gail force winds with monster gusts. I'm not too keen on the entrance fee either.

The other folks that showed up were from California. I've been to PV 3 times this year and 2 of the times, there were folks from out of town. I've felt sorry that they came all this way and the only wind in town was Pineview. At least they got something. I thought it was amazing to see that many kites out on Pineview on a weekday. There was about 4 inches of crystal powder on the ice so it made it OK for even the snow boarders, though I think it is still better on skis. I think today is the last Pineview day till we get another inversion in.
