I was able to get off work at 3:30 so I thought I would hit Lincoln before the party at Brewvies. Raced out and it was blowing when I got there. Sal was out on his 12m It was just turning on and by the time I got the 13m rigged it was Bliss. Rode for about an hour in perfect wind. I watched as more people arrived and it turned into classic UL sesh!
Only bad spot was where I lost my board way out there and had to drift in to shallow water, wait and hope someone would see me without board. Jason Klein came to the rescue and found and delivered my board. THANKS JASON! After the long time in the water I started getting cold and I had to cut my ride short. I was also starting to get OPed on the 13. Anyway Time ran out to make it back to SLC in a safe manner so I could not make the party. I hope you all had fun there also. I shot some video that I will post some time soon.

Ya sorry we missed the party but what can you do? It was all-time at LB last night with riders maxed out and going BIG BIG BIG! I'm totally sore and worked, but feel great. The season is on and I hope we get alot more sessions like we had last night. Jake, Billy B, Mark J, Jason K, Sal, Ryan, and myself were present. Mark, I'm glad you got your board back and that Jason came to the rescue. We were all wondering what you guys were doing downwind in the weed zone we affectionately refer to as "Sal Padre".

Here is a link to a small clip from the hour of video I shot yesterday. Sorry that I didn't get much of anyone else but the memory card filled up before most of the others got out on the water. It would have been nice to get some shots of the big jumps that happend later on.

Wow, nice evening of smoothe wind. Took out the new 14m, which was fine for the first hour and the last 40 minutes, but that middle hour felt like i was strapped to a freight train. I would guess wind was 20-23 during that period. Fouled the lines at one point, which resulted in some swimming, but otherwise a nice session. Pretty much everything hurts today. Mark, no sweat, pay it forward. sorry i didn't notice you a bit sooner. Billy had to help me out a few times yesterday, too. Thanks BB. Nice seeing the old crew all out riding together. Sal Padre - i laugh every time i think of that.
