The expression session start at 7pm on the pond inside the habor. Josh won it with a upwind 360, Darrin and I tied, I pulling off a few heli-tacks and he took out the smallest gear 95 liters and a 5.5.
At 8:00pm the real deal got started with Jim taking the honnors with most time on the water fully powered. He rode until 9:00pm. I'm glad we stayed and all of us got good rides for an hour with a fun expression session warm up.

It was sweet!!!
Thanks to Mike, Jim, and Josh for the launch strategies.
Nice late session with nice waves and a kick-#ss sunset.
De-rigged in the dark.
I'm glad I left work with a case of swine(swell-hog) flu.
P.S. Special thanks to Josh for my harness salvation.

Yeah, the wind is very tardy this year. It should know by know that when I show up it is supposed to start blowing.
The water temp is starting to get more comfortable. A little cold at first but after a few waist deep sail uphauls I warmed up nice and toasty.

We ended up launching off the end of the south jetty. The rocks are breaking down and we were able to make a more walkable path into the water. With a few sandbags the launch could work out really well.

I was on the water about an hour trying to get on a plane when everyone went in and that turned on the wind. So my arms were already killing me by the time the wind hit. But it was sweet to charge passed the guys on the break water in a full plane.

I need some time on the water bad.
