08/12 DCCB, 6.6m sail, 117L board

Since DC went
planable yesterday, and since the temp spread is 30 degrees, it'll probably be 9M (sail) material today.

9M for Carl maybe, 6.6M for me. VERY gusty. About half a dozen kiters at Barbed Wire Beach.

The weeds at Charleston Bridge just keep getting worse; a weed fin is pretty much a necessity for anyone who wants to keep launching there.

Hey Jim, I watched you soaring through the water. I was enjoying rides up by the Island Beach harbor on a 5.2M and 12ft board. Wife and I had a great time.

Devin,
Does this mean you're switching over to the "light side?"

Anybody headed to Willard today?

Hey Ken,

We bought the windsurfing barge with hopes of getting in to SUP, but we've found windsurfing to be a blast. It seems like a no skunk solution: no wind=SUP, light wind=teach wife to windsurf, med-good wind=hog the windsurfer and have a blast. It's been 3 months since I've had a good kite fix.
