Cool!
Fun Sesh at the Bwire. Punchy, Holeie, gusty, up and down, but way fun. Billy is doing big handle pass 7s, and Peter BMW is doing back loops. Utah kiting is a trip. "How good do you want to be?"

Fun too for us poleboarders down at DCCB (John D, Patrick, and me.) John and I (both of us on 7.5s) did lots of slogging interspersed with wild rides in the gusts. Got to be kite catcher for a DCBB refugee who managed to sine his 10m kite all the way down to our neighborhood during a prolonged lull.

I wouldnt know great DC wind from crap, it did feel gusty(picked up and thrown about 20 feet on one occasion when i was heading in, felt the wind building and wanted to land the 17 before it got too sketchy for me).. riding a 17m Contra 3 and a crazyfly cruiser 145x44 board, i was pretty lit... first time staying up wind, consistantly, felt like i was actually controlling where i wanted to go instead of the wind, with a couple exceptions from the gusts. Sorry I ended up getting in the way a few times, learned quite a few lessons today

First session on my new Mike's Lab course board with funky looking Curtis race fins. Wow what a light wind combo but extremely hard to get used to. Way harder than riding a surf board. Rockets upwind but seems to over-power easily and creates tons of lift. Haven't felt that tail-walking feeling since I gave up windsurfing. Definately need to spend more time on it but seems to be a perfect set-up for DC.
