wind started blowing at 12:30-1:00 on memorial hill ,I know that the 6.6 wouldn't be enough so I loaded a vintage-86 gaastra power foil and headed for the water, when I got there the wind is was not that bad so I started rigging my 23 year old sail that was in remarkablely good condition, carl arrives as I go out. I'm powered up and planning most the time but it is short lived and by the time carl gets on the water with his 12L is lasts another 10-15 min and startes to back off more and more until it virtually stops and gets weired. I'm done at 3:30 and home at 4:00

George Ward

I saw George (and guessed that he was using a vintage sail) as I was returning from Rainbow Bay. I had been hoping to sail up to Sailboat, but as I left Rainbow, the wind started getting fluky, and by the time I got back to Charleston Bridge (3:30) it had quit almost completely. Still, for the first 1.5 hours of the session (1-2:30) the wind was the steadiest I've experienced in weeks.

It was filled in, but lighter, less than 5 min after George left. I wondered if he would check the cam when he got home to see. With my gear rigged and ready from the short sesh with George I went ahead and relaunched. Good rides until 5:30-ish. Upwind, downwind, and reaching. Hardly any wave runners or water weenies. The next 6 weeks look promising.

ps. What's with the sundance weather station? We're gonna want that now that fall is around the corner.
