Buenas tardes Amigos,
Just finished a great day of kiting. Very strong, 30kts +, Levante (East) winds, side on. Locals thought it was very gusty, but by our standands, it was just gusty. Due to wind direction, water was mostly choppy, with small wind waves and minimal shore break. Huge beach. Probably the most popular kite/wind surf beach in Spain, maybe Europe for that matter. Not crowded at all, off season and weekday helped. We are staying about 2 hrs away, and with so much to do, just one day to kite. Rented gear, First Class North Kites (7M Rebel) and Boards (X ride 141). Kited off the most southern tip of Europe where the Oceano Atlantico meets the Mar Mediterraneo. Kida cool kiting out looking at Africa (Morroco) and returning to Europe. Checked out the Rock of Gibraltar on the way down.
Adios Juan
