10/1 Rat Beach, Torrance CA Speed 3 DLX 19M
Posted: Thu Oct 01, 2009 7:26 pmI missed the end of summer blowout at UL the other day due to a very bad cold. The only thing that kept me going that day was knowing that I had a trip to SoCa planned. I was able to kite today with an 85 degree air temp and 75 degree water with just a pair of board shorts. It was the first day for me on the Speed 3 Deluxe. Have to say that I like the kite even more than the Silver Arrow (I am selling the Silver Arrow if there are any interested takers for $1200). Wind was light, but the waves were nice with smooth water between the sets. All in all a keeper, but definitely not a blowout. Maybe tomorrow...
