Been traveling around the past week and a half and had a unique opportunity to kite Morgan Lake
which sits at the foot of Navajo Nation Power Plant, Fruitland, Nm. Rode 13m Waroo for about 2 hours until the storm front
made it too dangerous to kite. The cool thing or should I say warm thing is that air temp was 35ish, but water temp was from 70-90F depending
where I rode. At times the steam off the lake was overhead making for a spooky yet amazing ride. This lake goes off in the spring mostly but
if you have a chance, ride it in the dead of winter in a shorty.

good for you, funny thing is I windsurfed there about 15 years ago. I remember the warm water and the fog off of the water. You are right in the spring the coloradans go down for warm water sailing.
