Arrived at Strawberry at 1 p.m. and saw not one. Wind was light. I guess folks much have been too tired from riding the big winds the last 3 days and didn't care much for the light wind.

Anyway, I took out my 10 M Manta II and 13 M Frenzy and had a great time. I finally get to try kiting on snowboard. I have to say it sucks in chopped up snow. Skis are a lot better for crusty snow. When the powder is sweet again, I will give snowboard another try.

All in all, 4 days of kiting is never a bad thing. I tried couple of small LEI kites in Skyline and found it a lot easier to handle than I've imagined. But I still like foil on snow. :)

hey leo,
I'm stoked you had a good session today. I did not feel the flow. Could not justify the drive from Alta, Tried to kite up here but it did not pan out, I am some what amazed that that it happened but happy for you.. Thanks. Bob A.

Leo,

Wish I could have stayed at the River and rode those east hills with you. It was so fun for the half an hour I got, but I had a two beginners with and we went to go find less snowmobile tracks in the flats. Went to co-op and everybody was having a blast until it started to crank. Then we went across the street and I held down my 12 for an hour before it was just too much. Went back to the truck for my 7 meter foil and was lit and sending it on the chicken creek hills. It was good. Plesent surprise.

Also, I usually have a point and shoot with me. Next time we are out together I can get a couple shots for you so you have some action and different perspective for your girlfriend. Its the hardest sport to ever explain to somebody.

Hey Tyler, glad you had fun. It was nuking for about an hour when I was up the hill, right after you left. Imagine I tried hard to hold down the 13 meter Frenzy! :||

I managed to come back down and downsize to 10 meter Manta. It was fun! I actually shot a footage with a hand held camera.

It would be great if you can shoot some action for me next time. :)

Bob, there is no excuse! Come out when the wind is good!!! Good to see you last night.
