04/08 DCCB, 7.5m sail, 117L board

A warm (afternoon high temp: 57F) SW wind first became noticeable a little after noon and by about 2 had plateaued in the high teens to low twenties. DC is now entirely ice free, so I could have launched at any of the usual spots, but Charleston Bridge is closest to my house, so that's were I prefer to go when the lake is full (as it is at the moment.) Brief lulls occasionally, but enough power with the 7.5 to plane most of the time. Water temp is in the high 30s, so a drysuit and gloves/mittens are desirable.

Boy did I want to join you, I just need the water to warm up a bit for me and my wetsuit!

Yes, truely. DC is my favorite ride ine utah. I just feel restricted in multiple wetsuits
and seem to leave the water with some disapopointment in those conditions.
