5.31, DC island beach, iSonic, 6+ m2

Jason M called at 1 and said he was at the beach, rigged, and going out. In other words, he gave me the heads up. Thx Bro. When I got to IB Mike was rigging and Manny was just going out. The folks at the picnic tables were watching and when Manny pumped his sail a couple times to let it breath they mentioned that they thought he was just showing off. I guess they had never seen someone take charge of their rig like that. I rigged quickly and rode, kinda wound up tight here and there, from around 2 to 4 so I could get back to the valley in time to go feed the kids. The puffs were frequent and strong enough to get lots of rides. Jim and Josh were also out. Anyone else? I bet Jim S was at CB.
Definitely warmer and nice to be on the water. Looked like it was still windy when I left.

I arrived at 3pm and rigged my 5.8m and the start board. Amazingly I got quite a few planing rides on that floating island.
I left around 6pm.

I stand corrected, 5.8+m2. I saw a few of those planers while I was derigging. Pretty impressive for the Starboard Start Josh was riding.
