9/5 Sand Hollow 16m
Posted: Mon Sep 06, 2010 11:27 pmWith a family rock climbing trip planned in Veyo I was down south for the killer wind but did check the forecast before going down which looked real promising so I took windsurfing and kiting gear.
Seemed windy all day but didn't get out the the lake until about 4:30pm. There was wind at the lake then but it was up & down with the occasional whitecaps but nothing that ever filled in strong. Rigged the beginner setup and got out the SUP stuff for the family and pumped up the 16M kite for myself. Got good rides until dusk. Good fun but not the 4M windsurfing session I had originally thought it would be.
