It has been a great holiday weekend. Today Eric Fisher (US Ski Team Downhill squadron) his bro Rily, Chris "Air Pepe" Sherwin and I had a killer day. It is so cool to see how fast our crew here in Utah is getting really good. Four kites up.... 11.5s and 13ms. Bliss!!!!!!!

Cool!
And at least 7 or 8 sails up between DCCB and DCIB! :)) But local poleboarders are getting a bit lazy on our posting!

Days like today are funny. I went to Home Depot at lunch to get stuff done, figuring that the SE component would screw up DCBB. Lazily got to DCBB. It was glass. I almost left, and then I thought, "well, I'll go look further up the road." Texture on water was from SE - not good. But, oh wait - what's that by the dam? "Heeeeeeere's Johnny!"

Rip back to BB - think - 17 or 13? A self launch looks imminent. 13 it is. Probably a good thing too. Wind was up and down as usual, but there were some nice stretches and I was lit occasionally at full power on the 13. A pleasant surprise even though I could have used a recovery day. Rode in my 2mm top. Got a wee chilly, but others made it work wearing only shorts!

Windtalker is having some sort of issue - I could not get sundance readings at the beach -make sure you check your computer one last time before you leave. We had rippen winds up at Timber Lakes between 7 and 9. Let's hope for a repeat manana!

The congregation at DCCB consisted of Judy, Anjee, Paul and yours truly. More westerly than usual (go figure) and insanely gusty. Wonder whether it was steadier elsewhere on the lake. I started with a 6.6, then rigged down to a 6.0. Judy and Anjee were on 5.5s, and and I think Paul was on a 6.5. We all got rides, but they were short and infrequent.

7.0 for me at DCIB, gusty but long enough to ride shore to shore fully lit and sometimes back. Needed to pull out early, about 3:30. George W on his 6.6. 3 other guys on the water.
