I didnt get the weather report so I showed up at 10:00 waiting on
Trevor ,Pete. Todd showed up as soon as I was ready to get some.
I put up 17m Roo as usual. Wind was strong but crappy comeing from the
south west, and changed to north, northwest, west, just very irratic
for a couple of hours. During direction change, wind was very hollow and empty
till about 1 when most everyone had good riding conditions for the rest of the day.
I usually dont get home with bad back pain after riding, but all the
sharp gusty lulled conditions in the first couple hours made me hurt.

I just checked the the Skyline weather station for the dayly readings.
Accordind to the station, the winds were relitively staedy SW all day.
This strangely goes against my observations during the day
at Skyline. Did anyone see or feel anything strange about our winds today?

Today was my first day out this season on the snow and I thought it was epic. A little up and down but I never got dropped out of the sky. Snow was pretty darn good considering how warm it was. Flew the 15 manta from 1:00 til 4:45. Light on the flats but great on the hill. I must have timed it right as it didn't seem to gusty or shifty to me. We did see on the wind meter before we arrived a gust to 40 mph though. Glad I wasn't out when that hit.
