Posted: Thu Jan 13, 2011 8:12 pmSue and I went down to Los Barriles(LB) to kite and relax with the Richard and Catherine Kennedy. Great time: flip flops, shorts, mas cervezas, mas tequilas, pescado tacos, waves, and no wetsuits except a shorty. Showed up to wind and never took a break, 10 for 11 not bad considering I could have kited the day I did not, but was just too tired. The Kennedys showed me a great time. Richard and his crew can rip down there, too many kiters from PC to mention. All were on directionals. I missed my directional, next time I will need to bring. Taylor was the man getting me motas, thanks bro!!
Kited LB most of the time with either a 9m or a 13m, could have used 7m and my 11m. I love my new 13m edge; this kite will be a great kite for water and snow. We did four road trips from there. Three days to Buena Vista where the waves were way fun and mushy, 4 miles off waves and sand. Best day was at Punta Colorado where we ripped waves and high wind all day.
Went to La Ventana (LV) for three days and relaxed a bit on my 13m and Zephyr. I took one day off there because I was tired. Did some SUP, which was fun. Wish I could get another toy, but another board and I would start to feel like Morton.
