Posted: Fri Feb 25, 2011 10:02 amTowed into Red Mountain, short ski tour for those without motos. Huge area. Wind was strong and perfect for 9m kites. Gusts rolled in later forcing us to pack up and ski out. From anywhere on the slope you have a killer powder run back to the car.
If the wind allowed, we could have kited a few miles down the ridge and then boarded a 2500 foot vert run. Next time. As it was we went 3-4 miles out.
