I was doing some work in Idaho falls and the wind was solid in town like always. I arrived to muddy fields so I had to drive way up a super muddy farm rode till the snow was beep enough. I rode for about 2 hrs. on nice corn snow powered, this place is "Fn" huge.. I used the ski tracker GPS on my iphone(it works well if you have cell service) I only had cell service on the lower part of the mtn. so it only recorded part of my session....

Ry,

Download the app "Ski Tracks" for your iphone (.99) Works off GPS basically anywhere. Tracks, and Speed, Miles covered, Ski vertical, etc. WG

i had an app called "trails" on my iPhone, which worked really well. It's intended for hiking, but works great for kiting as well. Same as with whit's, you only need the gps signal to record your location/trail and can then be plotted on a map once you're back in phone service, or you can download the maps for a particular location in advance - helpful if you're hiking outside of phone service so you can see where you are - and it'll show you the data plotted on the map outside of phone service. will give you avg/max speeds, etc. nice app. haven't found one i like as much since moving over to an android phone.
