4/9 Skyline reserve - 10m
Posted: Sun Apr 10, 2011 12:22 amI wasn't sure if the right combination of wind and visibility was available today, but I headed up to Skyline anyway. Lucky I did, because I was rewarded!
First I went to Boscoe's and I saw one kiter packing up. No sure if anyone got any rides there, but it was bad whiteout when I got there about 3:30 or so. Then I drove over to the reserve and it looked good so I pumped a 10m and climbed up a hill. I rode around happy on the ten for a few hours and packed up just before dark. I was joined by a cool out of town kiter from NYC.
The powder was great! The visibility was good the whole time. Loved it.
