Thats the strongest winds I have ever seen on Utah Lake.
I could not hold down my 8 meter kite
I wish I would have had a 5 meter kite today what a rare occurance.

it appears that the Lincoln Point wind meter is worthless

Yes Marty the Lincoln sensor is dumb. It is way up in the orchards, not even a close reading of what is going on at Lincoln Beach. The venturi effect of the the north wind hitting West Mountain is amazing. I had a great time last night freaking lit on a 8M Liquid Force (Thanks Trevor). So much wind it washed away the end of the jetty. There is an little island out there at the point now. "The Island".
