I'm up in Montana for a wedding and I saw there was a lake nearby, so I brought my stuff. I went over to the lake yesterday to check it out. It wasn't windy but there were a few windsurfers camped out so I went over and talked to them. They were real nice guys and I felt like I was at one of our lakes talking to you guys. They said Dailey Lake is their favorite lake in MT. It's located on the north side of Yellowstone Park so it has beautiful mountains around it.

I went back over this morning and there was still no wind. I talked to the guys and they got a call from a friend who was at another lake an hour and a half away and it was windy there. They grudgingly decided to pack up and go there. Of course as soon as they were leaving the wind picked up. I pumped up my Zephyr as they drove away and went out and had a good session.

In the 90's, I lived in Bozeman and windsurfed on Dailey lake quite a bit. It can be very windy there. It's usually best on a pre-frontal South but it gets a bit of a thermal like Deer Creek too.

I love to travel with my gear. I always find some wierd, bad ass, scarey ass place to kite.
We missed you at Utah Summer Games. I wont tell you how amazing it really was, cause it might
leave a brown stain in your undies.

Yes I missed another session today. THanks for not telling us how killer it was thus keeping undies free of skid marks....at least new ones.
