arrived at 2 rigged the 5.2 /94ltr and blasted around for about an hour stupidly OP until my wrists were barkin for relief. Back out on the 4.5 /84ltr. until 5 and then called it quits with it still blowing in the 4.0-4.5 range. Kiters on 7m-9m. THe water level is up at least a foot or more since I was there June 6 but with more weeds. Flat as a pancake so a bit easier to sail big and glide thru your turns like your on wheels. Almost a carbon copy of the June 6 big day!

I got the late start,
Lit on 7m.
Chasing Jason way south to the flats on his speed board that he bought years ago ,just for Rush.
He GPS'ed something like 49mph.
We were kiting together, he turned off the wind, and it was like he hit the turbo switch.

Rush was Plush!

Thanks for coming up there with me Marty. I felt better knowing you were there. First time riding that board. Wasn't sure what to expect. The asymmetrical Cape Dr. Custom speed board rips!! Amazing control and edgehold at speed. So much fun. Can't wait to get it on some really smooth water.

John L and I arrived at 1:15 to fully lit conditions. As we were launching Jake hit a jump that must have been 50ft high and 150ft long and stuck it! Unbelievable. I rode a 7m and J a 8m for the next 2 hours until it notched up to about 40mph and we said adios. It was a classic day of high wind and friends ripping it up.
