Yesterday was the best, biggest swell, windiest day of the summer. Not a kite day unless you had a 5m, and even then it was wild. I chose to sail as my small kite is a 7m. The river was crazy, gusts to low 40's, giant wave trains and stinging spray. All the heavies were out. Today a can barely walk, my hands are blistered and I am taking the day off.

Bob, I was out at the Event site from 10:30-5:30...started out on 7m which was perfect for an hour till it ramped up (pun intended) and I was ludicrously, and then dangerously, overpowered. Stuck it out for a while longer, then came in and pumped Angie's 5 (true to form, every time she takes a lesson the wind goes thermo). Rode 5 for a couple hours perfectly powered, then came in for lunch. It dropped a few knots around 4 so went back out on 7 but switched to short lines, which took the edge off and was ideal. Nice way to cap off a great little trip.

Dave you have been getting a lot of use out of that 5M. Nice!
