Beautiful fall colors with a change in the air. Perfect full day powered up 95% time. Just a few sailors (Adam?), but a whole slew or gaggle of kiters (counted about 15 at one time in the air). The wind came up at about 12:30 and sailed til tired. I tried to keep up with Jacob on his race board, but he had a bit more power and maybe less drag. Overall a prototypical day at DC. Sounds like Grantsville was really powered this am.

Thanks Jim. Missed you out there today. Hope your fx heals quick. Are you going to be able to get out for the late season?

Yes, Myself, Linda, John and Gunnars were at Sailboat. 7.2 for me and the 136. I always debate....should we go to Sailboat or the island? But in this case it sounds like Rob and DaIsland had better wind? We deffinately got rides, but it was really on and off in one very short reach. Had one boat that would have likely hit me, if I had not slowed down. It was a workout staying upwind, but we had a good time, and the scenery was spectacular! I was surprised to see the water level still so high.
