The stars aligned as Kaerli and I both had the afternoon off so we headed up for the thermal. Arrived right on time at 2:45 to see Dimo and Jans rigging and no one on the water. Ever the gentleman, Dimo got her rigged and pretty much sacrificed his session to her benefit. I don't blame him, she seemed to enjoy the whole circus that is an afternoon of windsurfing.

After that we got Kaerli out on the 7.2 looking good with the Hypersonic so I rigged up and went out too. A couple kiters made it up from BWB, ? John?, and we kinda chased them around.

Good fall sesh, wish we could have stayed. Wish Jim was there. Water getting cooler, the shorty is still good but it won't last. The only regret was forgetting to call Rob to get him out. I think he has Thurs afternoons off. Maybe Saturday.

Wish I'd been out too. X-rays on Tuesday; I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Chris Sherwin and my self came up to play, I rode up to Rainbow bay just as it got a little light for the gear I was on, and I ran back to BWB. I was surprised to see Carl in a shorty as I was wearing a 4/5 full suit. Lots of fun at DC for sailers!!! SHould keep going for the next three days!!!

I'm surprised too that Carl was wearing a shortie; didn't know he owned a wetsuit. Must have been because Kaerli was there; otherwise he'd have been wearing just a bathing suit.

Great afternoon. Got some great planing (after rigging for a while) on my 6.7 and Roberts. Ripped across and back with no lulls, fully wound up. Took a couple more and then it lightened up, but I was all stretched and smiles. I was in a shorty, too, and the water temp wasn't bad. Glad it was so sunny, though. Gorgeous day and big fun to sail and drink some apres-wind beer with Carl and Kaerli and see pix of the cute twins!
