Arrived at 1:00 and my 12 year old son made his 2nd windsurfing debut in the 5 mph east breeze. Thermal wind came up at 3:00. Not enough to plane initially. Probably took till 4:00 to start getting some good rides. Really smooth and steady from 4:30 till 5:00 which made it all worth while. Wind was still blowing when I got the signal from the family it was time to pack up and go. The repaired fin box still holding, which is always a good thing. Could see one sailboat and another windsurfer down the lake.

Myself, Linda, Ken O., John D, all waited and watched Adam barely move on his big board and sail, in glassy waters. Held out till 3:30 or so, and headed to get other things done. At least it was a beautiful day, with plenty of sunshine.

about 10 kites up at BWB I sailed up to the island and ran circles around one of the boats to the hoots and holliers of the crew. Great fun for a afternoon, it filled in very late as Jims wind meter shows....
