Amidst the controversy surrounding Skyline, I had a lot of fun yesterday and decided to ride again today. Jessica and I showed up around 1 and rigged 11.5. She rode for almost 2 hours before taking a turn watching the kid and turning the reigns over to me. The wind was good, although a little gusty. Sometimes I felt great on the 11.5 and other times I could have been on 13. Typical Skyline I guess. Jess, being a bit smaller than me was pretty lit for most of her ride. The hill has a lot of grass sticking out on top, but we stuck mainly to its lower parts and the flats and we had a great time. I did not hit any rocks today and she reported lightly skimming over one that was just below the surface. It is preseason conditions for sure but this was my third day and for me it has been totally worth it. We had the whole place to ourselves.
Here is a pic of a railey I busted. It was taken with a cell phone so the quality lacks a little bit.

The powder stash at the base of the hill is great for landings.

Hopefully the weekend storm fills it in completely. Kiting is awesome.
