awesome first snow day. I rode my new havoc 16 and could barely keep it in the air when we got there, then i was insanely overpowered and could barely keep my board on the snow, then i was powered just right...then again lit beyond control. snow quality is ok, there are a lot of air pockets under the sage brush that swallow up your nose, but they're easy to avoid. the top of the big hill straight south of parking lot (is that bosco hill?) is in my opinion the worst because its really chopped up and tons of brush that make cruising very difficult. That is typically where i like to ride, but it was beyond my ability to stay out of the weeds and brush. it was good for those that came straight down it for glides though. The small hill the the east of the parking lot is where the wind and snow were best. One of the coolest things i've ever seen was the guys floating from the top of the hill into the valley because they would seem to come from nowhere because the clouds were so dense. You'd see a glimpse of the bottom of a board, then a body just floating seemingly unattached for 30 seconds or so and finally the kite, it was cool. Sorry Tyler...you missed out man! how was strawberry?

Yes, it was quite interesting from our point of view as well. :??
We spent an enormous amount of time and energy dragging ourselves to the top just
for those few seconds of hangtime. I kept asking myself, "why are you doing this to yourself?"
and myself answered, shut the hell up and get yourself back up there, its still windy :?:
I was speechless.

Now I know who wears the pants in the family.

Peter, nice glides it was awesome to see you guys disappear in clouds then poke back out as you came down the mt.
Wind was a little light at first for my 13 bularoo but filled in after an hour or so. Felt a few rocks hit on the hillside and saw some patches of rocks to steer away from. As everyone says just needs some more snow ..
I am the guy from Lehi on the Yellow Kite looking up at you below...
