12/1 - 12/7 Cabarete - 21 & 15M Speed 3
Posted: Fri Dec 09, 2011 11:06 amI went to the DR for a week to visit my daughter and son-in-law. They told me that the wind has not been good, so I took the big gear. I did get to ride for 2 glorious afternoons. I have heard a lot of good and bad about Cabarete, all I can say is that I will be going back. I spent most of my time playing in the waves at the break. The waves were excellent, nice waves with a predictable break and plenty of room between sets. The 21 was a good call. I could have rode an 11M LEI for about an hour each day, but with the big kites I was able to ride all afternoon both days that it was windy.
