12/14 Skyline

Skyline gave up the goods today. Sometimes the visibility was poor, occasionally the wind would slow down for a minute or two, but the snow was awesome and the wind direction filled in places that I have never rode before. I flew 17 while Jess and Tyler were on 13 and 13.5.
There was a period of about 30 minutes that the three of us were on top of bosco's and clouds cleared and the wind picked up. Jess and Tyler were lit on 13 and I was cranking on 17 with a huge grin on my face. When I pulled the trigger I would just keep climbing until I let the bar out. It was wild. The powder on top of the hill was pushing 18 inches. We were all riding around, going big, and screaming our heads off until we saw a cloud approaching that was going to sock us in and we left the hill.
There was a guy from Colorado getting the goods today, as well as two guys on Slingshots that I didn't recognize, but other than that it was just us. We rode from noon until 4 or so before hitting the road.
Aside from the visibility issues, today was the best ride of the season for me. Hope more comes soon.

Sounds like a blast g-man. I'll be out this weekend. Let's hope the wind keeps up!

Jake Schmidt & I were the 2 guys on the slingshots. Both rpm's 10 & 14 meters. It was a whiteout with excellent wind and soft surface conditions. Good times!
