I really don't remember how many Tiki parties we have had over the years, I think those brain cell left me long ago.
Anyway, as usual, we will be at the Golden Rose/Jack's for some food, fun, and of course Scorpions! The concoction that is sure to give special powers over wind and waves to anyone that dares to drink. (It is rumoured that Jason Polakow has them for breakfast).
July 23rd, 8.pm. (Kind of a bummer, since this is a Sunday night, there will be no karaoke, or maybe that's a good thing) Come one, come all, everyone is invited!!!

Hey man! You are the Tiki Party thrower extraodinaire... I am bummed it's on the 23rd... My family has a hokey 24th of July party that is going to be difficult to skip out on... But I am trying to get to the Gorge the week of the 24th... Is that date set in stone?
Not to mention your Karaokee skills that would be missed!

Hey Rick, tradionally we have been having them the last friday of July, and we originally were going to have it on the 28th, but Stu the Rockstar, won't be able to attend and I may be working my way home by then (via the coast). But if it does work out better we could still do it on the 28th. Maybe I'lll still be in the gorge. I don't know anyone else's schedule, but we could definitely postpone if enough people were up for it.

WOW>.. Maybe with that wind forecast that I just read from the other post, people might wait a little to head up there... The thing I like about that forecast is, rarely are there TWO bad weeks in a row in the Gorge as odds might hopefully prayerfully happen!!!
As far as the TIKI party goes... Whatever you end up doing I hope I can make it... Looking forward to seeing you up there!

IT'S OFFICIAL - SCORPION TIKI PARTY RESCHEDULED FOR 7/28!!!
I think this change will work out best for all, plus it's a Canadian Holiday weekend, so there will be more people to party with. (Even if they do look kind of funny).
Golden Rose/Jack's/Hood River Resturant (the chinese place across from Pietro's)
8 p.m. (pacific time) Friday July, 28.
