Could someone tell me about the different sites to sail at Utah Lake? I've heard four places mentioned. SSB, Lincoln, Saratoga Springs and Provo Harbor. I noticed Craig's post today did not mention the Provo Harbor. Does that mean this spot is not good for a NW wind? What spot would be my best bet today for windsurfing? I also need directions to these spots since I have no idea how to get to them except for Provo Harbor which I heard was a nice spot.

Jeff, if you go to the top of this web page you will find a link that says "local sites" Itll give you some directions to a few good places. Otherwise, I went to Provo Harbor and asked the lady at the pay shack and she gave me a paper with a bunch of beaches and their directions.

provo harbor: i-15 to center street. west on center street. leads directly to park entrance. launch in forebay, off the jetty, in the main marina or off the boat ramp into the provo river mouth. the sandy beach on the forebay has grown goat's head stickers, wear (cheap) flip flops to the water. today has potential for breezes but the thunderstorms will likely threaten. you can see the harbor real time on utahlakeview.com, good luck.

Jeff G... Actually, some of my best sessions sailing in Utah have been from the Provo Boat Harbor... On a good north it is epic! Also on a good south... You park over by the Rental Hut between harbors and sail over to the cut to get out or you can struggle over the newly placed rocks... We have been working on getting a sandbag trail over it.
