I need to submit some comment from you guys about the snowkiting growing sport to the editer and reporter. Like why is snowkiting so popluar? How is it growing? Is it hard to learn or easy and why is it? Is Utah the place to go snowkiting and learn? why is it? Feel free add your own thought and question about snowkiting.
I have already given my comment but they wanted more then one person comment.
I would appreciate it. Jacob Buzianis

One more thing, How do you compare this to the other sport like snowboarding, skiing, kiteboarding, surfing, skateboarding, etc? You can compare whatever sport you want. Jacob Buzianis

Snowkiting has as much or more potential than the water for growth in number of riders. I prefer snowkiting to the water for a few reasons: 1. Landings are softer - Utah rarely has hardpack it is usually powder or packed powder. 2. The terrain is far more varied than flat, chop, and waves on the water. On the snow we have cornices, hills, natural quarter pipes, kickers, ridgelines, etc. There is so much to explore and discover on the snow. 3. Due to the effects of wind updraft and slope on a hill jumps are much longer.
Utah will always be one of the top locations for snowkiting for the same reason it attracts powderhounds to Alta and Snowbird - Utah it gets more than its share of champagne pow. The best part of snowkiting is riding the fluff without having to ride a lift.
