How does provo boat habor compare to pelican point on a north wind day? I have never sailed at the habor. Thanks for the help.

My experience has been that it's always a 3-4 MPH lighter on the Harbor
side. This mostly from sailing all the way across the lake.

I think Josh posted 4.2-4.7 on Friday when Pelican was mostly 4.7-5.0. (I sailed 5.4 at Pelican because my Utah Parks pass was expired, wrong choice, broke my mast.) It's my sense that the swell is more organized at Provo Harbor, probably the result of a longer, more unobstructed fetch. If the push is light it may only reach the north end of the lake, ie Pelican. Otherwise it continues south and often the better riding is at the southeast launches including Provo, South Sandy Beach and Lincoln it seems.
