Powder Mountain Rain Tree Pics
Here are some pics of the Raintree area. This place
is huge and looks awesome. I'm not sure if you can
get reliable wind though. Auggie or anyone else have
some experience out here? The ski commute is an
hour +, it took me 1/2 hour just to ski across the thing.
Wind direction that might be good is East to South East.
Also Northwest could be kitable on the upper part of raintree,
in a section comparable to the towers. I see this going off on
a north because its and unobstructed shot down into Cache
Valley. If you have any info on favorable wind forcasting I'd
like to hear it.
Signs, Signs, Every there are signs. Raintree in background.
First shot going out.
After first ridge.
After second ridge.
After another ridge.
Towards the end and looking down.
A shot back to PM and the parking lot.
16m Best is more like a BEAST on a ski tour.
Panoramic.
